Application of Accuracy Class:
For PT, if the accuracy class is 0.3WXMYZ, it will maintain 0.3 accuracy class from 0VA to 200VA (Z load).The accuracy of PT varies linearly with load. At the factory, accuracy is recorded at zero and full load, and this data is available from the manufacturer on request

Selection of Accuracy Rating:
Modern digital meters and wattmeters have very low loads and the accuracy of the VT/PT can be improved by selecting a VT with a lower full load. For example, if 0.3WXM (35VA) is used instead of 0.3WXMYZ (200VA), the actual load of 15VA will be in the middle of the accuracy graph, with a ratio correction factor (RCF) close to 1 and a phase angle error close to zero
